Wonderla
Get Mindblown!
Get Mindblown! was a campaign for Wonderla, India’s largest chain of amusement parks, aimed at placing the brand firmly in the minds of audiences as a top choice for fun plans. The campaign sought to increase footfalls and ticket sales by breaking away from conventional category norms that typically show generic expressions of fun. Instead, we tapped into the insight that growing up often means toning down your emotions and reactions to fit societal norms. Wonderla, however, offers an experience where unfiltered, maximum reactions are not just acceptable but celebrated.
The creative concept revolved around "getting mindblown" at Wonderla, illustrated through visuals of people experiencing unrestrained joy and amazement. The campaign's hero asset (set to be released in April ‘25) is a master film featuring Muthuswamy, a stoic man whose excitement is unleashed only at Wonderla. This was complemented by two localized film assets for Onam and Dussehra, along with a suite of print and billboard ads.
As a designer on this campaign, I was deeply involved in crafting the typography and visuals, particularly developing the natural yet impactful "mindblown" effect along with our production team. I also worked on designing key visuals and print materials that brought the campaign to life across various platforms. This project was a long and rewarding journey, spanning the entire process from pitching the idea to production and delivering final assets.
